Job Description:

  • Proactively identify and develop new market opportunities while expanding overall market coverage.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with existing customers, distributors, and agents to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Manage distributor and agent performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, including weekly and monthly performance analysis.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions that balance client requirements with company interests.
  • Prepare quotations, administer customer accounts, and ensure proper documentation of all sales activities.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups on sales call reports, sample requests, customer projects, and other client inquiries.
  • Provide pre-sales technical consultation, product training, and after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Initiate and coordinate technical testing, product optimization proposals, and project-specific solutions to support customer needs and drive new business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed regular sales targets while effectively managing and coordinating sales projects.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, territory strategies, and customer coverage plans to achieve growth objectives.
  • Support the Regional Commercial Manager in budgeting, pricing strategies, and commercial decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of an industry knowledge base to strengthen market insights and competitive positioning.
  • Undertake frequent business travel, both locally and internationally, to engage with customers and support business expansion.

Job Requirements:

  • Recognized Diploma or Degree holder in any related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant working experience and familiarity with Malaysia Electronic Market, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), or wave-soldering processes will be an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with proven negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel locally and overseas as required (up to 50% travel).
  • Comfortable dealing with both local and international customers, with a key focus on China-based clients.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin will be a strong advantage as the role requires an engagement with clients from China.
