Logistics Accounts Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions related to logistics operations, including invoicing, freight charges, and payment processing.
  • Prepare and reconcile accounts payable and receivable for transportation, warehousing, and third-party logistics services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing for clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain financial records, process bank reconciliations, and track cash flow for logistics expenses.
  • Monitor and control logistics costs, ensuring cost-effectiveness in freight and operational expenses.
  • Assist in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits related to logistics transactions.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to streamline financial processes and improve cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including customs duties, SST, and other financial obligations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts, preferably in the logistics, freight, or supply chain industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations related to logistics and transportation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
